The Panhandle Great 25 Nurses Scholarship Committee is offering scholarships to Texas Panhandle nursing students enrolled in accredited programs in the Fall of 2024. These scholarships aim to support students pursuing various levels of nursing education, from undergraduate to doctoral degrees. Recipients will be honored at the 8th annual Panhandle Great 25 Nurses ceremony on November 7th. Each scholarship, valued at $1,000, covers different nursing program tracks. The application deadline is May 24, 2024, and late submissions will not be considered. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in a nursing program for the Fall of 2024 and maintain a GPA of at least 3.0. Undergraduate programs include Amarillo College, Clarendon College, West Texas A&M University, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo. Graduate students living in one of the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle enrolled in accredited Master’s or Doctoral Degree Programs with a Major in Nursing are also encouraged to apply. Applications are available on The Panhandle Great 25 website, www.panhandlegreat25.com. Please ensure all components are submitted by the deadline.

Program tracks include:

LVN to RN program.
ADN program.
Traditional (Generic) track BSN program.
RN to BSN program.
Second-degree BSN program or Veteran to BSN program.
Master’s Degree Program with a Major in Nursing.
Doctoral Degree Program with a Major in Nursing.
